Melissa Mika

Melissa Mika is a licensed esthetician at Your Body's ReTreat in Suite 102, where she handles skin treatments, body sugaring and eyelash enhancements. Before entering aesthetics, she spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy, enlisting four days after high school graduation and retiring afterward. Her Navy assignments centered on electronics maintenance for the AEGIS Weapon System and on fire control tactics, and she trained newer Sailors. She was posted to five guided missile destroyers and made four overseas deployments to the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf. She trained in aesthetics at Bellus Academy in Southern California, and she holds several associate degrees from Coastline Community College, including ones in marketing and business administration. She is a certified sugaring professional and a certified classic, volume and mega volume lash artist, with credentials from Borboleta, LivBay and Lash & Glow. After leaving the Navy she joined the business founded by Jamie. Her professional focus is building her knowledge of skin peels and corrective treatments.
