About
Melissa L. Montoya is the founder of Mel's Skinspa Ink LLC, which she started in 2017, and of Orange Colonic Center. She holds a California esthetician license and runs several businesses. Her semi-permanent makeup work covers scar camouflage, eyeliner, lip blush, ombre brows and scalp pigmentation. She also provides skincare and colonic services, using organic and medical-grade products.
Her clinical experience began with internships in 2010. From 2010 to 2012 she completed a Clinical Care Extender internship at Riverside Community Hospital, and in 2010 she earned a certificate of exemplary service for a rotation in that hospital's emergency department. In 2012 she completed a pediatric brain surgery observation internship at Loma Linda. Between 2018 and 2019 she worked as a facilitator for the American Cancer Society's Look Good Feel Good program, with sessions held at Irvine Medical Center and St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton.
Her training includes a skincare diploma from SABA, earned in 2015, and an associate degree in math and science from Santiago Canyon College, completed in 2016. She also holds a Medical Assistant certification, is an I-ACT Certified Colon Hydrotherapist, and completed a Collagen Induction Therapy certificate in 2019.
