About
Melissa is the founder of The Skin Retreat in Houston and a licensed esthetician, licensed since 2004. She started working in wellness in 2002 as a licensed massage therapist, a license she held through 2008, and she has more than 20 years of clinical skin care experience. She also founded The Intentional Aging Method.
Her focus areas include corrective esthetics for aging skin, hormonal acne in teens and adults, hyperpigmentation, skin laxity, and the connection between the nervous system and skin health. She works with clients seeking care for acne, aging skin or midlife skin changes.
She is in progress toward certification as a health and wellness coach and is expanding into coaching, with a mind-body-skin methodology planned. She also offers mentorship and business strategy for estheticians.
