Melinda

Melinda is the founder of Lovesome Beauty Lounge and works as a Beauty Enhancement Specialist, offering services at both the Williamsburg and Short Pump locations. She has more than 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, and permanent makeup work began with a mentorship in 2002.

Training covers several areas. Microblading was first learned with Everlasting Brows, and she later became a national trainer for GLAMD. Cosmetic tattooing came after microblading, and she holds advanced paramedical pigmentation certifications. Lash extensions were learned from one of the first lash extension spas in the country. Skincare education began with an apprenticeship and formal study in New York, then continued with trainings in Texas over about 15 years.

Her work centers on facial concerns including acne, scarring, texture problems and aging skin, along with soft, natural-looking eyeliner, lip blush and clinical anti-aging skin solutions. She also offers Spa Consultant Workshops aimed at staff skills and client retention, and has been a teacher and mentor for beauty artists.
