Melinda is the owner stylist at Cut By Yours Truly, working at Joe Hamer Salon on Washington Street. She has been crafting customized haircuts for over two decades, spending most of that time as a commission-based stylist before stepping out to work on her own. She later moved from a former salon to Joe Hamer Salon, where she now runs her own business.

Clients have praised her work on curly hair, fine and thin hair, and long thick hair. She begins with a thoughtful consultation, gives honest advice drawn from her knowledge, education and experience, and places a strong emphasis on scalp care. She focuses on building trust and consistency with each client over time.
