Melinda Chan

Melinda Chan is a physician assistant who performs aesthetic treatments at LA SkinAesthetics. Her cosmetic career started with her 2005 graduation, and she has more than 20 years of experience in the field. She earned a bachelor's degree in biopsychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, then a master's in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, graduating in 2005. During PA training she completed 18 weeks of elective rotations in cosmetic dermatology and in plastic and reconstructive surgery. She is nationally board-certified as a physician assistant and is licensed by the California Physician Assistant Committee. Her aesthetics certifications cover specific lasers and injectables. Her treatment work includes Botox, Juvederm, Radiesse, Dysport, Restylane and Kybella injectables, plus laser hair removal, IPL photofacials, fractional resurfacing, vein and pigmentation treatment, ultrasound and radiofrequency skin tightening, and acne treatments. She works with aging, damaged and acne-prone skin. Her memberships include the California Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
