Melessa Denee

Melessa Denee owns Melessa's Ultimate Hair Design, where she also works as a styling artist. Her career started in 1988 as a cosmetology apprentice at a Middletown, Delaware salon, and she has spent over twenty-three years in the field. Her client base spans Delaware, Maryland, South Carolina, North Carolina, Arizona, Pennsylvania and California. In Beverly Hills, California, she has worked with clients on non-surgical hair replacement, wig installation and hair loss solutions. Her styling has appeared at fashion and hair shows along the eastern seaboard. She has won multiple hair styling awards.

She first studied fashion design and fashion merchandising at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia. Since then she has completed further coursework in hair weaving, wig making, makeup application and non-surgical hair replacement. She holds cosmetology certifications in Delaware, Maryland and California and is a licensed beautician.

Her specialties include hair weaving, hair extensions, custom made wigs, lace wigs and non-surgical hair replacement. Much of her work serves women with severe hair loss, including loss tied to chemotherapy, autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalance and trauma. Full extensions, clip-ins and custom made wigs are the most common choices among her clients, along with styles that fall between those options.
