About
Melanie is a hair and makeup artist (HMUA) and professional makeup artist with more than twenty years in television, film, print and beauty. Her career has taken in salon work, TV and film sets, and clients ranging from celebrities and photographers to brides. Faces she has worked with include CeCe Winans, Toby Mac, Montel Jordan and Chris Matthews.
She designed makeup courses that she went on to teach at Columbia College 2 in Chicago, and she has run corporate workshops. Working freelance, she has partnered with MAC, Estee Lauder, Tarte and Chanel.
Melanie holds a Bachelor's in Art, cum laude, from California State University, Fresno, and the RYT-200 yoga teacher credential. She accepts a limited number of wedding bookings each year. Client reviews call her personable and professional, and note her work on makeup meant to hold up through a day of hiking.
