Melanie Gustason is the salon owner and a color and extension specialist.
She trained at The Aveda Institute in Las Vegas, graduating from its cosmetology program in 2006. She began her career that same year as an assistant to a Paul Mitchell educator, traveling to classes and working in salons. She later assisted colorist Kim Vo for about three years, across salons in Laguna Beach and Beverly Hills.
She spent about ten years working in California before moving to Nashville, traveling back and forth while building a clientele in the city. Continuing education and keeping up with trends are part of her work.
