Melanie Erb Shushan

Melanie founded Annapolis Aesthetics, which she also owns, and is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University and trained as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified as an acute care nurse practitioner through the American Nursing Credentialing Center. After graduating in 2003, she started at the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she worked as a cosmetic services provider and as an educational trainer in Botox and dermal filler administration. She then spent about fifteen years caring for patients in the Washington, D.C. area before opening her own practice closer to home. She focuses on laser and injectable aesthetics, with more than 20 years of experience in Botox, Dysport and dermal filler techniques and more than a dozen cosmetic laser procedures.
