Melanie Carreon

Melanie Carreon is the owner and full-time, on-site medical director of LCS Medical Spa and a licensed physician. She began practicing family medicine with obstetrics in July 2000 and trained in a family medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, with residency work at St. Mary and St. Elizabeth hospitals. She is a board-certified medical professional, with the American Board of Family Medicine among her credentials. She founded Laser Cosmetic Solutions in Seguin in April 2004 and now practices solely in the aesthetic field, after more than 24 years in medical practice. Her focus is liposuction. She has performed tumescent liposuction under local anesthesia since 2005 and laser liposuction with SmartLipo since June 2007, and she has used the SmartLipo laser for over 17 years. She has performed more than 5,000 liposuction procedures over 20 years, and liposuction is the only invasive procedure she performs. Her other work includes laser hair removal, tattoo removal, IPL photo rejuvenation, microneedling, Botox, CoolSculpting and Vanquish ME. She has treated men and women from Seguin, San Antonio, San Marcos, Austin, Houston, New Braunfels and out of state. Her awards include a Medical Resident of the Year award for 1999-2000 from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Vitals awards for On-Time Doctor, Patients Choice and Compassionate Doctor Recognition, and a Healthgrades Honor Roll Award. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
