Megan Negrete

Megan Negrete is a Stylist at the Waldo location of Lumine Salon, working Tuesday through Friday. She started her career in the fall of 2011 and began working behind the chair in 2013. She has nine years of experience as a stylist and colorist.

She completed an apprenticeship with a local artist, with hands-on training, and an extensive course at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, California. She also trained at Salon Success Academy in Redlands, California, and is licensed in California, Kansas and Missouri.

Cutting focuses on soft, feminine mid-length to long hair, blended long layers and face-framing. Color work includes sun-kissed foil work, natural bases, traditional highlights, babylights, teasylights, multi-dimensional color, and gray coverage and blending. Styling covers blowouts, beachy waves, bridal and special-occasion styling, and extensions. She thrives in blonding, event styling such as bridal and prom, and customer service. She focuses on building relationships with clients so they have a good experience. She does not do short haircuts, pixies, curly cuts, high-fashion cuts, fades, barbering, locs or perms, all-over platinum on naturally dark hair, box-dye color corrections, or hand-painted balayage. Her rate is $120 per hour.
