Megan Gadsmith

Megan Gadsmith founded Megan Gad Hair Co. and created The Megan Method. She specializes in hand-tied extensions and the sewn-in method, and teaches The Megan Method extension classes to stylists. Her interest in extensions began with a sewn-in method class she attended in 2019, and in 2021 she started experimenting with a personal extension method.

She developed the method after tension spots from earlier beadwork extensions caused discomfort for some clients. Her aim is for clients to feel comfortable right after their extension appointment. The method was offered only to her clients from 2022 and was introduced to Social Salon stylists in 2023.
