Megan Edwards founded Cicada Health and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC). Her work centers on cosmetic skin health, and she has 12 years of experience in patient-centered care.
Before recommending any treatment, Megan reviews each patient's health history, skin concerns and goals. She oversees every Cicada Health membership with clinical guidance. When it suits the patient, she uses ultrasound to guide filler placement, and she sets microneedling depth, needle configuration and serum to match each patient's concern and skin.
For acne, she takes a whole-person approach that includes a clinical assessment and, when appropriate, prescription medications.
