About
Dr. Mayra Abreu is the physician and owner of Abreu Medical. She earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, then completed an internship in General Surgery in Pittsburgh. Her family medicine training took place in Winter Park under what was then the Florida Hospital system, now AdventHealth.
After residency she worked as a hospitalist physician in the same hospital system. She later served as a COVID doctor at a treatment center in Lakeland, Florida, and has worked as principal investigator and later medical director for research studies. She has completed more than 20 courses on aesthetic and regenerative medicine in the last three years and has over 15 years of clinical experience.
Her focus is natural-looking aesthetic results, with treatments tailored to each patient's unique features.
