Maydel Grinan is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) at BellaVida Aesthetics & Wellness. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico, completed in May 2019, and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, Georgia, completed in September 2022. Before practicing as a nurse practitioner in the United States, she trained and practiced as a physician in Cuba, Venezuela and Colombia.
Her clinical experience includes family medicine, gastrointestinal and hepatology disorders, and weight management, and she has a focus in aesthetic and wellness medicine. She is an active member of the Obesity Medicine Association and Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers, and she is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed in Florida as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with an autonomous practice license.
