Maureen

Maureen owns the salon and also works as a stylist. She has 41 years of experience and started at the salon in 1984 as a part-time shampoo assistant. After managing the salon for about seven years beginning in 2000, she bought it in 2005.

She graduated from the four-year Virginia Polytech Advanced Cosmetology Program. Her continuing education includes advanced courses at the Aveda Institute in Arlington, Virginia, Roy Peters' Color at the Expert Level course, and the Aveda Congress in Minneapolis. She has also attended the NYC International Beauty Conference, the Las Vegas Hair Convention and the Orlando Hair Conference.

Her specialties are corrective color, custom highlighting and perming, along with haircuts, wig care and cutting, facial waxing, and hairstyles for special occasions.
