About
Matthew Woods, MD, FAAD, is Medical Director and co-founder of Skin Ritual. He practises general, surgical and aesthetic dermatology at Desert Sky Dermatology in Gilbert, Arizona. He earned a biochemistry degree magna cum laude from the University of Arizona. He then went on to medical school and an internal medicine internship at the University of Arizona, a dermatology residency at Oregon Health & Sciences University, and a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. His USMLE scores placed him in the top 1 percent of physicians.
