Matthew Trovato

Matthew Trovato is a board-certified plastic surgeon who practices at Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. He holds a clinical faculty appointment at Baylor University Medical Center and is co-program director of the pediatric and craniofacial surgery fellowship at Medical City Dallas. His hospital affiliations include Medical Center of Plano and Forest Park Medical Center. He earned a bachelor's degree cum laude from Duke University and a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed general surgery residency at UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School and plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at UMDNJ. He is fellowship-trained, with a hand and microsurgery fellowship at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco under John Q. Owsley, M.D., and a craniofacial surgery fellowship at UTSW Dallas.
