Masako Wada

Masako Wada is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and A.C.N. at Austin Japanese Acupuncture, where she works with Nutrition Response Testing and Eastern Asian Medicine. She is licensed to practice acupuncture in Texas and California and is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Her training includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from Tokyo Woman's Christian University in Japan. She also trained at the Shiatsu School of California in Santa Monica, and earned a Master of Natural Science of Acupuncture from South Baylo University in Anaheim, California. She studied contact-needle Japanese acupuncture under Dr. Anryu Iwashina (Dr. Bear) of Morioka, Japan.

Beyond acupuncture, she has completed advanced clinical training in Nutrition Response Testing through Ulan Nutritional Systems and applied clinical nutrition training at Texas Chiropractic College. She is also a Certified Facilitator of Supreme Science Qigong Levels I and II, holds a Diploma for Nutritional Balancing Science from Westbrook University, and is certified in N.A.E.T. and by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association.
