Mary Tran

Mary Tran is the owner and a stylist at MARE.LA, serving clients in the Long Beach and Culver City areas. She has worked as a professional hair stylist for more than 17 years and specializes in dry haircuts and haircolor. She trained at Career Academy of Cosmetology and has taken further education in several areas. Her training includes the Vidal Sassoon ABC Cutting course, color and updo styling with Goldwell, color and editorial styling with Wella, and dry cutting and styling with Bumble and bumble. She has also completed color and creative workshops with Guy Tang, Rebecca Taylor, Larisa Love and Shannel Mariano, including a Behind the Chair color show and a haircutting workshop with Shannel Mariano. Editorial and print work includes Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Bello Magazine, Tantalum, Viet Beauty and L.A. Weekly. She has also done fashion show work at New York Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week and Raw Artist Semi Final, and has done work for fashion designers, photographers, and film and music figures.
