Mary Jo Cartier

Mary Jo Cartier is a hair and makeup artist with over ten years of experience in the field. Her salon work centers on color, extensions, blonding and transformative styles, including balayage and extensions in the salon.

Outside the salon, she works on fashion, film and commercial projects, including runway and camera-ready looks. She has worked with production companies, wedding parties and photographers, and her credits include Bella Magazine and Numero Cover. She also assisted with hair for Kennedy Trisler at NYFW Spring Summer 2025 shows and styled hair for Nick Carter on the Backstreet Boys DNA World Tour.

For weddings, she does bridal hair and makeup, including travel and destination weddings, and tailors each look to the bride's vision, from soft waves to bold glam. She works both in the salon and on location.
