About
Marvin A. Carrington serves as Master Stylist and CEO of MACSTYLE Inc. Roughly 40 years in hairdressing sit behind him, and his training came through the John Atchinson training program. He has held management, educational directing and style directing positions at leading salons in New York City, and he has worked for Soft Sheen, Affirm, Mizani and L'Oréal.
As an instructor for Joico Hair Color, he teaches techniques to New York City salons. He also mentors assistants in precision cutting, product knowledge, and color chemistry and formulation.
He has been featured in Essence, Ebony, Lucky, Honey, Redbook, Latina, Heart and Soul and other publications, and has appeared on ABC and NBC television and across numerous websites. He designed a system of client amenities. He built his clientele quickly.
