About
Marlie Mahogany is the owner and a natural hair stylist at Marlie Mahogany in Atlanta. She started as a shampoo assistant at a salon in Newark, New Jersey, at age 14.
After moving to Atlanta, she studied psychology before returning to hair work. She worked for a celebrity hairstylist and learned the business from the inside, and she spent 10 years as a natural hairstylist at Royal Crown Barbershop in West End, Atlanta.
She now works full-time in her own studio, offering dedicated services and her own organic products. Her work centers on helping clients transition to natural hair and keep it healthy, with a focus on natural styles.
