Marlene Hanusa is the therapist who runs the business and works across massage, naturopathic medicine and energy medicine. She is a licensed massage therapist and registered massage therapist, a licensed practical nurse (LPN), and holds a D.O. in Naturopathic Medicine, a board certified CTN credential and a board certified master herbalist credential. She also holds the CHHP credential and teaches Usui Reiki classes at the business, and holds a Reiki Master Teacher credential.
Her work in healthcare started with home health care, followed by nursing school at Eastern Suffolk. She then worked in hospitals and long term care facilities, where she became a charge nurse. Beginning in 2009 she trained at NY College of Health Professions in Eastern philosophies, massage therapy and Oriental medicine, and she has since added training in naturopathic integrative medicine, functional medicine, herbology and holistic medicine. She has worked in the Western and Eastern medical fields since 1991.
Her specialties include lymphatic treatments and body contouring, including RF cavitation and laser liposuction. Certifications cover reflexology, craniosacral therapy, oriental cupping, Mehta Ayurvedic facelift massage, aromatherapy (including Aroma-Touch and RaindropTherapy), cold laser class III LLLT for pain management, 5 Element Reiki, Tibetan tones sound bowl healing and crystal healing. She also practices as a Bach flower, iridology and homeopathy practitioner. She has been featured in Hamptons Magazine and other articles, was voted best of the best in her field in Dan's Papers in 2000, 2021 and 2022, and is one of the top therapists on Long Island, especially on the East End.
