About
Mark Pessolano founded Salon in the Heights and opened the salon at 1438 Yale Street in 2006. Before settling in Houston he moved from New Jersey to Atlanta, where he opened his first salon. He first visited Houston in the mid-1980s and later made The Heights his permanent home. For about 12 years he split his work between Houston and Atlanta so he could keep his Atlanta clients. In 2025 he retired and handed the salon to Erica.
