Mark Linenberg

Mark Linenberg is the master stylist at the salon on North Sheffield Avenue in Chicago, and he works on all hair types. His particular focus is curly and ethnic hair. His range runs from classic cuts to bold, wild looks, and from natural-looking shades to strong colors.

He treats every head of hair as an artistic project and shapes each style to suit its texture, the shape of the face and the way the client lives. Appointments are unhurried: he listens closely, works through options with the client and gives each visit time.

His clientele is multi-ethnic, and many clients have returned to him for more than 20 years. He has worked internationally and around the United States, and clients have brought him to cities in the US and Europe. He is based in Chicago.
