About
Marissa owns The Lounge by Marissa, a hair salon inside My Salon Suites in Blaine, and works as its stylist. She has been a hairstylist for over 15 years.
She started in beauty school after high school and built a career in the beauty industry. After a few detours, including earning a degree in marketing, she returned to hairstyling.
Her work centers on customized looks and color, along with sew-in extensions. Specialties include color that blends seamlessly and grows out softly, lived-in shades and subtle yet vibrant hues, styling for formal occasions, and extensions that suit a client's lifestyle. She also offers extensions for clients recovering from hair loss or damage, and welcomes clients who want low-maintenance hair or whose hair is changing, thinning or harder to manage.
