Marissa Baca, MD

Marissa Baca, MD, is a plastic surgeon at Straith Clinic in Bingham Farms, Michigan, where she holds board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Her focus is breast and body contouring, and she sees patients from Bloomfield and Birmingham. She also has a working relationship with Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak. Her training began at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where she was invited to join the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She was accepted into the MD Medical Scholars program while still in high school and moved directly into medical school after her undergraduate years. Her undergraduate work earned her the Michigan State University Trustees Award for the highest graduating GPA. She completed six years of plastic surgery residency in the joint Spectrum Health and MSU integrated program in Grand Rapids, then a one-year hand and microsurgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. After the fellowship she returned to Michigan to join Straith Clinic.
