About
Marie Monet is the owner of Marie Monet European Skincare and Day Spa. She has been a licensed esthetician since 1979 and opened her first salon in La Mesa in 1982.
She graduated from De Loux School of Cosmetology and then worked at Le Visage Salon and Scientific Skin in San Diego. Her training extends into body work as well: she completed licensed massage therapist training at the Bill Miller Massage Institute, and specialized programs in facial design, esthetics and body therapy at Valmy Academy in New York. She also completed advanced training with Adrien Arpel in Yonka Organic Skin Care products.
Her focus is anti-aging care and treatments for the face and body, including clients with serious skin concerns who want their skin to look and feel younger. For anti-aging work she selects the products and treatment protocol after a skin and body analysis, and she keeps adding to her knowledge of the industry each year.
