Marie Maksuti

Marie is the CEO and co-founder of MAK Salon and works as its lead stylist. After more than ten years at salons in Manhattan, she opened the salon on Mill Road in Eastchester. She has more than 15 years of experience in high-end hair styling. Her specialties include hair color, balayage, transformative color work, precision cuts and keratin smoothing treatments. She built her knowledge of color theory and cutting technique during her years at New York City salons, and she has trained the MAK Salon team in-house. Each appointment starts with a consultation covering hair history, the client's routine and the result they want, so the plan fits their hair. She tells clients directly when a trend is unlikely to work with their hair texture.
