Mariam Alimi

Mariam Alimi is the Aesthetic Director and an Advanced Injector at Impressions MediSpa, and works as both an FNP and an aesthetic nurse practitioner. She brings more than 14 years of work in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine and also serves as an Advanced Injector Trainer. The site calls her an award-winning nurse practitioner and states that she was recognized as Best in DC.

Her education includes a Master's in Nursing with an FNP focus from Purdue University, graduating cum laude, and a Bachelor's in Nursing from Stratford University, also cum laude. She also holds a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech. She trained in the ArqueDerma technique through the Injectability Institute. She has worked alongside Dr. Zack Ally in London on facial rejuvenation, profile balancing and beautification, and with Brazilian doctors on facial and body contouring using dermal fillers.

She is certified in Botox and in dermal fillers including Restylane, Juvederm, Volbella, Vollure, Radiesse and Sculptra. Her certifications also cover IPL and BBL, fractional CO2, Nd:YAG, erbium resurfacing, Ulthera, RF skin tightening, SculpSure, microneedling, chemical peels and PRP for hair restoration and facial rejuvenation. She describes her work in laser technology as expert, with experience using lasers and chemical peels on skin of color and ethnic skin.

Her focus areas include acne, hyperpigmentation, melasma, wrinkles, acne scarring, stretch marks, scars, rosacea and veins. She offers Biote hormone therapy, delivered as pellets, injections and creams, for women in perimenopause and menopause. She has also used Sculptra for body sculpting, including hip dips, cellulite and buttock augmentation.

She is a member of the Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses, the American Society for Laser Medicine and the American Nurses Association.
