About
Maria is the esthetician and owner of the studio. Her start in beauty came in the early 2000s, when she worked as a freelance makeup artist and at beauty counters around Los Angeles. After relocating to Kansas City she kept studying and moved into esthetics there.
Her background includes work at a full-service spa, a salon and a plastic surgeon's office, and in the late 2000s she operated a small boutique of her own. In 2010 she joined Damone Roberts in Beverly Hills, known as the Eyebrow King. Celebrity clients include Robert Downey Jr., Kelly Rowland and Sarah Paulson, among others.
She has more than 15 years in the beauty industry. Her specialties are eyebrows and skincare. She developed Brows By M.E., a tinted conditioning eyebrow gel.
