Maria Hernandez co-owns Olea Beauty with Melanie Thurston, and the two founded it together. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2004, the year she began working as a hairstylist.
She worked for a professional waxing studio before adding waxing to the salon's menu. Her work covers hair, lash and brow artistry as well as professional waxing. Over 22 years she has built client relationships, many of them lasting more than a decade.
