Maria Gomez-Chuba

Maria Gomez-Chuba founded August Aesthetics & Wellness, where she also sees patients. She holds registered nurse credentials and works as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, with a practice spanning aesthetics and wellness, including weight loss care. Her healthcare background totals more than nine years: five in medical-surgical nursing and four as an ARNP. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University in 2016, then a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, completed in 2021. Before that, she spent five years on the Transplant Unit at University of Michigan Hospital, caring for kidney, liver and pancreas transplant patients. Her aesthetic medicine work is full time and includes injectable treatments and Good Faith Exams. She took advanced coursework in neuromodulators and dermal fillers with MedAesthetics Training and with Cosmetic Medical Training. She saw more than 13,000 patients over the past year.
