About
María de la Paz Meléndez founded Alpha Omega Hair Studio, a hair salon in Richmond, California. She opened her own salon in 2001, and it grew into the studio she runs today.
She began learning hair as a child in Mexico, inside a family whose work centered on hair. She moved to the United States in 1992 and spent close to ten years working at several different salons there, sharpening her technique before she opened her own place.
Today she leads the studio as its founder, bringing that long grounding in hair to every appointment.
