Maria Cammisa

Maria Cammisa is a hairstylist and the founder of the Fort Lauderdale boutique that bears her name. Her early career took her to Barcelona and then Milan, where she developed her own way of working through Maria Cammisa Hair Studio. After moving to South Florida she worked as a manager at a salon on Las Olas before opening her own boutique.

Her experience covers salon work, bridal styling, editorial projects and film, and she specializes in bridal styling. Editorial and film work has included historical hair design, wigs and hairpieces. She has also taught hairstyling in professional training settings, including historical and cinematic techniques.

Clients can expect her to take time to listen and to give each person her full attention in the chair.
