Marc J. Salzman, MD

Marc J. Salzman, MD, serves as National Medical Director at Bowtique Med Spa, where he is also listed as a Medical Director. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 30 years in practice. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, then earned his medical degree at Tulane, where he held membership in Alpha Omega Alpha. His surgical training included a general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical School in New York City and a plastic surgery fellowship at Duke University Medical School.

He teaches and holds leadership roles in plastic surgery. He is an assistant clinical professor of plastic surgery at the University of Louisville, where his fellows chose him as Clinical Educator of the Year on two occasions. He has lectured as a visiting professor in the United States, Japan and South America, and is a past president of the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has taken part in PMA breast implant studies for the FDA, working with Allergan and Sientra on silicone gel breast implants. He holds a patent for the Ouchless Needle, has published several peer-reviewed journal articles and a book chapter, and consults for a number of companies in the plastic surgery field.

He belongs to ASPS and The Aesthetic Society and gives presentations at both organisations' national meetings.
