Marc E. Yune, MD

Marc E. Yune, MD founded Aesthetic Specialty Centre and works as a plastic surgeon. He started the practice in 1998, and it now has offices in Roswell and Lake Oconee (Greensboro), Georgia. He graduated from medical school with honors, completed a head and neck surgery residency at Indiana University, and then took a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship emphasizing cosmetic facial surgery. It was one of 37 such fellowships in the country and was run in association with Emory University in Atlanta, where he later served as a clinical instructor training physicians and residents. Over several years, mainly in Southern California, he also trained in cosmetic breast and body surgery and tumescent liposuction through preceptorships. His focus is facial rejuvenation, including eyelid surgery and facelift, along with rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and tumescent liposuction. He developed the DART procedure, a structural grafting technique for revision rhinoplasty, and the ICE procedure, an alternative to suture capsulorrhaphy for revision breast augmentation. He has authored and lectured nationally on facial plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. He has worked as a clinical consultant and trainer for Allergan and Galderma, a preceptor for Zeltiq, the maker of CoolSculpting, and a faculty peer-to-peer educator for Merz, the maker of Ulthera. He volunteers as a surgeon for Atlanta Smiles Foundation and for the Face to Face national domestic violence project, where he has also served as past spokesman and fundraising chairman. He is a founding member of the Georgia Society of Cosmetic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. A salon post says he was named in Newsweek's America's Best Plastic Surgeons 2022 list, and the practice describes him as renowned. He has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, Discovery Health Channel, Women's Entertainment Network, CNN, Time Magazine, and in podcasts and YouTube videos.
