Maggie Gaster works as a stylist and colorist. She started out as a hairdresser in New York City, where she worked for more than ten years at Seagull Haircutters. She now lives in Los Angeles and travels back to New York every few months to see clients who have been with her for years. She takes on thick, curly and wavy hair, tricky growth patterns, and cuts such as bobs, shags, mullets, pixies and more inventive styles, and she works with every texture and cowlick. Haircuts, shorter cuts, bang trims and touch-ups, and blow-dry and curly styling are available. For color, she offers low-maintenance options with hair health in mind: single-process color, partial and full highlights, double-process touch-ups, and toner or gloss.
