Magdalena Gasiorova founded em + zen, and she practices there as a physician. She holds an MD and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She originally intended to pursue dermatology in Europe, but her career developed along another path. Her training has included time with several physicians, including Jani van Loghem, MD, PhD, Zak Ally, MBChB, Shino Bay Aguilera, DO, Raj Acquilla, MD, and Arthur Swift, MD, along with nurse Julie Horne, RN. She has also completed advanced cadaver dissection courses with Matt Stefanelli, MD and Chris Surek, DO, FACS, and she continues to study facial anatomy, facial balancing, collagen biostimulation and injection technique. Her focus areas are facial rejuvenation, facial balancing, regenerative aesthetic treatments and precision wellness care. When planning treatment, she looks at facial structure, skin quality, collagen, hormones, nutrition and lifestyle, and may recommend less treatment, staged work over time, or no procedure at all. For lip filler, she follows a conservative, anatomy-based method and often builds results over time. She welcomes patients of any age who want fuller lips, volume restored after age-related loss, or better facial symmetry.
