Lyle M. Back, M.D.

Lyle M. Back, M.D. is the surgeon and owner of the Cosmetic Surgery Center of Cherry Hill, and has worked in cosmetic surgery in the Philadelphia area for more than 30 years. His practice covers the full range of modern cosmetic procedures along with non-surgical enhancement techniques. He graduated with honors from Rutgers Medical School and completed surgical training at Ohio State. He is board certified by the ABMS in general surgery and in plastic surgery, and holds fellowship with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and has long been a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has held a professorship in plastic surgery at Temple University and at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, both in Philadelphia, and has done reconstructive operations in Vietnam with Operation Smile. He has lectured widely and trained young surgeons across the country, and he has received awards for that teaching. He has written on cosmetic and plastic surgery for medical journals and popular magazines, has been profiled in local newspapers and magazines, and has hosted live radio and TV programs on cosmetic surgery in the Delaware Valley.
