About
Lisa S. is a licensed massage therapist at The Bronze Lily in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and has held a Florida license since 2010. She has about fifteen years of experience, much of it working independently rather than for a chain. Her education includes time at the Bhakti Academy of Intuitive Massage & Bodywork and deep tissue training with Robert Haase. She has completed craniosacral therapy training through the Upledger Institute, holds a 90-hour traditional Thai massage certification, and has added table-Thai coursework. She also holds Reiki certification through the third degree and completed yoga teacher training in the Kundalini and Kripalu traditions. Her specialties are full body massage, integrative bodywork and deep tissue massage. A session may draw on Swedish, trigger point, myofascial release, Thai stretching and craniosacral techniques, and she uses her yoga background to notice breath and holding patterns in the body. Warm stones and cups are available on request, and clients can ask for a quiet session or one where they talk.
