Lisa Pelayo

Lisa Pelayo is a makeup artist with over 19 years in the beauty industry. She has more than 15 years of bridal beauty work and over 16 years of commercial makeup work for businesses, agencies and television. Her commercial credits include NBC, KHOU, the Houston Chronicle and Shell, and she has worked with producers, photographers and creative teams on shoots.

She has been hired for destination weddings in San Miguel de Allende, Zihuatanejo and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and has experience creating age-appropriate makeup for mature skin. She applies individual cluster lashes and holds a lash extension license. Her training includes study of eye symmetry for lash placement and airbrush instruction from an artist who specialized in bridal and special effects work.

She teaches private makeup lessons and personal makeup shopping sessions. In lessons she guides clients step by step while they apply one side of their face themselves. Lesson and shopping clients often come from Austin, Dallas and San Antonio.
