Lisa Cassileth

Lisa Cassileth is CEO and founder of The Practice Healthcare in Beverly Hills, where her work centers on breast reconstruction and revision. She opened her plastic surgery practice in Beverly Hills in 2003. She held the post of Chief of Plastic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center across two consecutive terms, and she was the first woman in that role there. She trained at the University of Pennsylvania and is board-certified in plastic surgery, listing MD and FACS credentials. Her known work includes one-stage breast reconstruction, and she developed the direct-to-implant reconstruction procedure along with the SWIM flap. Those two techniques are now used around the world. Pocket Lift technique is also among her specialties. She is a pioneer in plastic surgery, and Newsweek named her a Top Plastic Surgeon for four years running, 2021 through 2025. In 2021 she received the Compassionate Doctor Award from Vitals for patient-rated empathy, and she has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for multiple consecutive years, most recently in 2024.
