Lidia Nistor-Retenller

Lidia Nistor-Retenller is the founder of Skin IQ Medspa in Atlanta, where she works as its Skin Longevity Specialist. She began her career after college in Bucharest, Romania, in 1995, then took a position with the Ritz-Carlton in Dubai in 1998. She was selected for the hotel group's corporate management training program and moved to Atlanta in 2000. Her training spans medicine and esthetics. She completed physician assistant medical training at a medical school in Romania, graduated from the International School of Esthetics in 2002, and then apprenticed with Dr. Jean Chapman. She is a licensed medical esthetician and a certified laser practitioner with numerous advanced laser certifications. She is also a certified health coach through the Chopra Health Certification Program, a certified emotional intelligence analyst using the MSCEIT test, and a graduate of Cognitively-Based Compassion Training at Emory University's Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics. Her clinical interests center on structural facial aging, collagen biology, skin longevity and regenerative aesthetics, along with peptides, hormonal influences on skin, inflammation and evidence-based technologies. She created the Skin IQ Structural Method and the Skin Aging Velocity Score. She works with clients who want to keep their skin healthy and resilient as they age, and she believes strong results call for more than treating the skin's surface.
