Leonid Zetser, MD

Leonid Zetser, MD, is a board-certified physician at BG Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Tashkent State Medical Institute and then trained at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. His postgraduate work covered internal medicine, family medicine and hospital-based care, and included a family medicine residency at Resurrection Health Care / St. Mary Hospital in Chicago. For more than ten years he practiced as a hospitalist at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, and he later practiced with AMITA Health and Alexian Brothers Health System. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, long-term management of chronic illness, complicated medical cases and acute care in the hospital. He hopes to develop lasting relationships with patients and their families, supporting them in understanding their health and reaching well-informed choices. His approach blends hands-on clinical experience with evidence-based medicine and advocacy for patients.
