Leanne Mitchell

Leanne Mitchell founded the practice in Wellington, where she serves as Founder and Clinical Director. She is a Licensed Acupuncture Physician and a nationally board-certified Diplomate in Acupuncture through the NCBAHM. She holds a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, both from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. Her career spans more than 25 years across healthcare, holistic medicine, women's wellness, aesthetics, bodywork and mind-body therapies, including more than two decades in integrative health and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her advanced training includes acupuncture injection therapy, aesthetic acupuncture, holistic aesthetics, massage and manual therapies, and Arvigo Maya Abdominal Therapy. Further study covers herbal medicine, photobiomodulation, frequency-specific microcurrent, Reiki, Alchemy energy medicine, aromatherapy, Firefly photobiomodulation, cold laser therapy, facial rejuvenation techniques and Ayurvedic shirodhara. She has also trained in childbirth education and labor and postpartum doula care. She is a Quicksilver Scientific Women's Hormone Specialist and a licensed or professionally trained holistic aesthetician. Her specialties include women's health, fertility and reproductive medicine including IUI and IVF support, pregnancy, birth preparation, postpartum recovery and perimenopause. She also works in aesthetic acupuncture, facial rejuvenation and holistic skin health. Many patients come to her after trying conventional options without feeling their concerns were fully addressed.
