Leah Fleming DMSc, PA-C

Leah Fleming DMSc, PA-C is the founder and an injector at The Healthy Injector. She is a board-certified physician associate with more than 17 years of experience in aesthetic medicine and weight loss. She first came into aesthetics during clinical training in 2007 and 2008, and has since worked as an injector and as a trainer of new injectors across the eastern United States. She is listed as a National Aesthetic Trainer in neuromodulators and dermal fillers.

Her training began with the physician assistant program at Wake Forest Baptist School of Medicine, where she gained experience in dermatology and plastic surgery. She later earned a Doctor of Medical Sciences from the University of Lynchburg, with a doctoral focus on clinical weight loss and nutrition. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in pre-medical exercise science from Appalachian State University, with minors in biology, chemistry and psychology. She is also a certified group fitness instructor through AFAA.

She focuses on neuromodulator injections and dermal fillers, and on weight loss work built around nutrition. She adjusts weight loss recommendations based on how each patient responds to a nutrition program, and believes diet should be individualized and that weight loss should not be a fad. She has served patients in the North and South Carolina regions, and some travel several hours to see her.
