Lea

Lea is a hairstylist and colorist at Art For Hair and also works as an independent artist at Lusso Salon Boca Raton. She is dual licensed as a cosmetologist and a barber. Her work has taken her through high-end salons in Cleveland, Ohio; Union Square in San Francisco; Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale; and Boca Raton.

She has training in both cutting and color. She trained with Jean Louis David in France in razor cutting. Her mentors are Ian Gavet and Gordon Nelson, who both trained directly under Vidal Sassoon, plus Anthony Ina in Cleveland. She received Ouidad training at Las Olas Beauty in 2015. While in California she worked as a color educator and hair show colorist for Matrix.

In color, she lightens everything from natural blondes to bombshell shades, does highlights, dimensional balayage and color correction, and is versed in all color techniques, custom color among them. On the cutting side she works across modern cuts for women and men, from pixies and shags to bixies and long hair, plus razor cuts and men's haircuts with hot lather neck shaves. She keeps up with hair shows, online education and fashion trends, and takes cues from the Toni & Guy UK technique. Her career also includes club, fashion show and media events from San Francisco and Los Angeles to South Florida.
